It was December of 2004 when it all started. Or, at least, that’s what I’ve been told. I know nothing for sure, but I will tell you what I do know. It’s all I can do after all. The Malfoys and the Notts are planning a takeover, one that will be the downfall of the Wizarding World as we know it today. The two oldest, Sabastian and Alexys, are going to be the ones leading the operation. They are the strongest, oldest, and wisest of the two families. They are the ones that have been completely brainwashed since they were young. They were perfect for the job. Sebastian would take his father’s place as Minister of Magic the minute he came out of school, with Draco saying that he could not keep up with the pace of such a demanding family life. Alexys will take her mother’s place as Headmistress of Hogwarts, with Daphne claiming the same story.
The next person will be Scorpius. He has, probably, the craziest role of all. He will have to be the one to infiltrate all of the good family’s ‘good graces’. The Weasleys, the remaining Potters, and all the people that fought for the light will have to believe that he is different. They will have to believe that he is the good one, the one that is different from his family, and because of that, he has been raised to hate his family. His family specifically treated him horribly so that he would want them to go against them. His role was carefully planned out, so that nothing could go wrong. It was my job to make sure that nothing went wrong with him. Nothing could go wrong where it concerned Scorpius, or the whole plan would collapse.
Next came the twins. Sabina and Selena, and then the Nott twins. I wasn’t even told their names, actually, and have never come into contact with them because they’re not in my house. Either way, they were supposed to stir up trouble, and get people to think that, maybe, the Ministry wasn’t doing all that it could. It was their job, from within the walls of Hogwarts, to get people to believe that the Malfoys could do it better. They had to get people on our side, the side that would come out victorious. But there was one more part to this plan, one that no one knew about, and one that everyone overlooked. It was a very important part, none the less, and one that was very important. I was the final part of the plan.
No one expected Lily Potter to be involved in any way, shape, or form. No one thought it suspicious that Scorpius Malfoy and I dating was a problem. No one noticed that we were in no way in love, well, at least I wasn’t. I had to fake my way through the whole thing. I was the center of the plan, the part that no one expected. That’s what made me so valuable. I pretended to be all cute and innocent, like I was a good Potter, and got everyone to believe that the Malfoys were good people. Well, how did I know? Because I was dating one. And everyone was slowly turning to the idea that “Hey, if a Potter says it, it must be true. Maybe the Malfoys are getting better.” That’s where they were wrong. Everything was only going to get worse.
But there are flaws in the plan, of course. What if Scorpius doesn’t do exactly what we want? What if the two sets of twins can’t get enough people? What if we’re found out? There’s a lot at stake, and everything has to follow every little bullet point, or the machine falls to pieces. We lose everything we’ve worked so hard for. Oh, and have I mentioned the biggest problem of all? None of them know about anything yet. So, yes, there’s a lot of stake, and a lot of unknown variables. But right now, all you have to do is put on your mask and remember that these are REMEMBER DECEMBER!
